UK and International Deliveries


By completing and submitting the electronic order form (or proceeding through the 'checkout process') you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Neither submitting an electronic order form or completing the checkout process constitutes our acceptance of your order.

Please note that orders including Made To Order items will be shipped all together - please check all turnaround times.

Postage and Packaging

We aim to fulfill orders within 1-2 working days, excluding Made To Order items. Please note that it may take longer than usual to fulfill your order at peak times (approx.2-4 working days), and as we work to ensure the health and safety of our team in our fulfillment centre.  We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.

We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays including Christmas, New Year, and other bank holidays.  


Within the UK

Orders with a value of £300 and over are shipped free of charge.

For orders under £300 in value we charge up to £5.00 for Royal Mail Services. Postage costs will be automatically calculated at checkout. 

In some instances orders will be by Courier and will need a signature on receipt.

Please advise us on your order of any delivery instructions.  Please make sure that all delivery details are correct at time of purchase.  If you need to make an amendment or change to an alternative delivery address, please contact us within 24hrs of your purchase.  We cannot guarantee these changes can be made beyond this timeframe.


International Deliveries & Customs

Postage and Packing is calculated on your order according to Size and Weight.

Any order that is dispatched outside of the European Economic Community will be sent Tax Free (Present UK VAT is at 20%)

For items to be exported, the carriage charge covers packaging and delivery only.  Customs duties may be payable.

We are unable to advise of these amounts and the recipient is responsible for paying this duty.


Christmas Return/Exchange Policy

For purchases made in November and December 2023, we have extended our returns policy so that items can returned or exchanged until 31st January 2024. 
Exchange: Items purchased in November & December 2023 can be exchanged until the 31st January 2024. These items need to be unused and in a good condition, however, the packaging can be opened. We also require the original order number to process the exchange. If the price of the exchanged goods is less than the original price, we will refund the difference to the original payment card only. If the price of the exchanged items is greater than the original price, then we will require the excess payment made before shipping. Exchanged items will only be sent once the original items have been returned and are in good condition.
Returns/Refund: Items purchased in November & December 2023 can be returned for a full refund. The amount will be refunded to the original payment method only. We cannot refund payments by any alternative means. A refund will only be processed once the items have been returned and are in good condition. We will require the original order number to process a return.

Return Policy

It is the policy of Givan's Irish Linen Stores to ensure that all our goods are supplied in perfect condition.

Due to the nature of our products it is impossible to guarantee the exact sizes of sheets, blankets, towels, handkerchiefs etc. All sizes quoted are approximate.

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason and it is in perfect, unused condition, please return it within 28 days along with a copy of your original order, as proof of purchase, for an exchange or refund by the original method of payment.  Please contact us to cancel your order within 14 days from receipt good; all goods to be returned within 28 days. Return costs are borne by the buyer.

Your statutory rights will not be affected.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / Non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as eye masks etc.). These exceptions do not affect a Buyers statutory rights in relation to faulty goods. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.


The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund - typically 3-5 working days depending on your banking provider.
